Settling in
Well, my mom flew home yesterday, Scott's at work, and I got to sleep in today. I guess our new life in Taber is really underway! We'll post updates as things happen, in the meantime, here's a fun picture from when Mom & I went out for lunch yesterday. I noticed the knife at the table was sticking to the other utensils. I asked the waitress, she said they have a magnetic lid on the garbage can so that utensils don't fall in. It was kinda fun. Keep reading!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see you have furniture HURRAY!!!!! It is nice also to see that you guys are having a positive attitude about things that are seeming to be a little different then expected. The pictures are great, I love the magnetic utensils. But if the magnet is on the garbage can lid does that mean that your utensils were on the garbage? Anyway, all is well here so far, we will hear results from Emily's MRI on tuesday, I'll let you know what they are then.

Looks like you had fun with your utensils...hope the food was good. Hope your mom had a good trip back...she will have lots of stories to tell everyone back home....you will probably really miss her. Glad you are finally settling in, and hope Scott's job is going well.
